This Piece (Aids) Terrible picture but the only one we took, was done in 87, by myself, mao and a writer called Rak one, This was a freestyle piece after we racked all the paint from a garage on New road, With help by Rak one, Aka his name, We would fill his rucksack full of paint he's go and dump it and return and full it up again and so on, One staff member who we named Eagle eyes would scan our every move, Just some how we got away with racking so much from this place, It was all dupli colour and carplan, was before we found brands like smoothrite japlac etc. Sadly the garage closed down.
There seems to be a fashion or better put a progression, lately of pieces with blended abstract styles, in the backgrounds and fill, A little like the style that was big in the U.K when this and other pieces where done back in the 80s, Esp after Spraycan art come out in 87, and we clocked the Chrome angels...They where a massive inspiration on U.K Graffiti.
I like the fact that styles change and go full circle..Though todays pieces really look advanced compared to the limited palette we had with car paint back then,

A few oldies, Fame 1986, Hard roc concept, And Throw down, fina, coma..
pZ..

  2. Haha yeah, The garage just closed one day, and never reopened!! On New road, in Rumney.
I have all Mao's flicks here, But I'm sure there's one or two missing, Apart from what was took by B.T. Plus we lost an album down the lines a few years ago, doing some drunk day time bombing, Mao got spooked and said run,I was gone across the tracks and got over that wall into the industrial estate, Anyway somewhere along the line, he lost an album.
I've pretty much scanned what's here..
